Little Northern Nook: Frames

Meet: Danielle

Born out of a love for interiors, styling and colour, Little Northern Nook was founded on the belief that every home should be a reflection of its owner.

Having studied photography at college, she knew that when she got the keys to her first home in 2018 that she'd want to frame some of her favourite images. From treasured memories to artworks collected over the years, she wanted the images to ‘pop’ but was struggling to find the right frames, so decided to make her own!

Creativity has always been an important part of Danielle's identity, she's loved making things since being a small child. These days process of switching off and becoming totally engrossed in making something is her very own form of mindfullness.

Pops of colour for every home

Each frame is meticulously hand-crafted in Leeds, West Yorkshire, in Danielle's ‘studio’ – a small bedroom that she's rapidly growing out of - the dream is to one day having a bigger studio to run LNN from...

It's a busy juggle balancing her small business alongside full time work, but putting her creative output into the world makes it all worthwhile.
